This program is specially designed to introduce the wonders and beauty of a primary tropical rainforest, led by an expert in the Malaysian Jungles.
Explore a part of the 544-ha forest rich in diverse flora and fauna species in Forest Research Institute of Malaysia. Enjoy an interesting trek through the forest and learn about the many plant species in this part of the world. Some of the highlights along the nature trails include the crown shyness phenomenon of the kapur trees (Dryo-balanops aromatic); various other unique tree features such as leaves, barks and buttresses as well as the serenity in the forest. If you are lucky, you may spot some wildlife such as monkeys, lizards and birds along the trails.
Don’t Forget
Wear comfortable walking shoes, mosquito repellent, hat/cap, drinking water, bath towel, extra change of clothes and extra pair of shoes/slippers.
